Our Digital Landscape Photography Workshops includes tuition, transport to and from the locations, packed lunch and workshop notes.
These Landscape Photography workshops will be primarily field based and are aimed at beginners and improvers looking to enhance their skill and technique.
Throughout the day the emphasis will be on developing a competent and professional approach to landscape photography. We will start by looking at the camera controls in detail and use the cameras advanced operations instead of automatic mode. This gives us more control of the camera and allows us to make decisions that suit the conditions at the time of exposure.
The landscape offers an almost endless variety of photo possibilities, be it isolated details or a grand vista. However, we need to approach the subject with open eyes and an inquisitive mind. This landscape photography workshop will help you find your subject and then concentrate on the importance of lighting, composition, focusing, depth of field and exposure. All designed to improve the quality of your work.
Always remember that one of the greatest challenges for outdoor photographers is to find new ways to see the world around us. Knowing where to find these hidden treasures and how to photograph them will test both your creative resources and technical competence. In return it will provide many memorable days, great photographic opportunities and images to treasure.
All our landscape photography workshops includes one months follow up email advice and a review of your developing portfolio.
We will adopt a flexible approach to our photo locations and will be guided by the days weather. However, in the event of adverse weather we have a well equipped workroom available that will ensure a full day of tuition no matter what the weather.
