Taken from the Getty ‘Millennium Collection’ this video offers one hundred years in one hundred seconds. There are some fascinating clips within this footage, including some events that I recognise though there are certainly some others that I do not.

This is the second part of our Namibia Photos Collection. All these images were taken in the area of the Namib-Naukluft Park which is easily accessible with good infrastructure. It offers lots of interesting things to see and do, the highlight for me being the sand dune area of Sossusvlei.

I was prompted me to publish a series of Namibia pictures over the next few days from our trip to Namibia after recently recently reading an inspiring blog post by one of my favourite photographers John Paul Caponigro.
John Paul Caponigro’s blog post brought back happy memories of our own trip to Namibia.

Two old abandoned Russian trawlers in Walvis Bay.
Many of the rocks in the Twyfelfontein area are covered with petroglyphs (engravings).
